Here in Miami, we love our lush tropical wedding locations and of course the beach, but it’s always fun for us when we have a bride that wants to skip the beach wedding and go with a rustic theme. On Dec. 2nd, they celebrated a Rustic Wedding at the Walton House, located in Homestead, FL, was a perfect venue choice for Brianna and Patrick’s rustic theme wedding. The Walton House is a historic English-style cottage originally built in 1917 by W.K. Walton, that oozes charm and appeal for a couple seeking an intimate rustic wedding setting. These beautiful pictures by zaitography captured the wedding perfectly. See the Sneak Peeks of this day below:
To highlight the wedding’s rustic theme we chose to use a variety of colorful wildflowers and greenery including daisy mums, wax flower, veronica, crespidia, freesia, italian ruscus, hanging amaranthus, and salal. The boutonnieres were wrapped with burlap, and the bride carried an overflowing whimsical bouquet. Her love for yellow was showcased through the flowers and her bridesmaids dress, and she also had us add a little touch of yellow and whimsy to the cake.
Each of these amazing vendors took part in making it an unforgettable day.
