Honey, you and I both know that your wedding is going to be perfect. It can be our little secret, but we both know it. It shouldn’t be anything less!

Now if you listen to me I’ll make sure that it’s fabulous to boot!

In all my years of designing weddings I have seen a few things that can take a perfect, flawless wedding and turn it into an absolute disaster.

The main culprit: Dirty Table Linens.

I’ll tell you what, you can have a beautiful setup with gorgeous flowers and amazing tablescapes in a dreamy ballroom with hanging chandeliers, but when your guests sit down at that table and see a spot or a hole in your linen it will be the only thing that they remember . . . or talk about. Now I know that you don’t want that!

There are some definite rules to follow when picking linens.

First, and foremost, make sure that they’re clean! You’d be amazed at how many people let this go. If you’re renting, order a few more just in case a couple don’t make the cut.

Next, always, ALWAYS , make sure that the linens go all the way to the floor. Make sure you measure your tables so that the linens gently touch the floor . . . almost like a kiss! Never allow them to clump at the bottom or only go halfway to the floor! Oh my, I’ve walked into a ballroom with linens that hang down to the floor and it looks like a bunch of hobos were the wedding planners!

If you’re using square tables get some runners. They can cover a bad spot (if you’re using the venues linens this happens) and they look great.

Always make sure that you pay attention to the details. Linens may seem like the easiest thing about your wedding, but they can turn into the biggest nightmare and honey, that is a lot less than you deserve!

Trust me! Look bellow to see what beautiful linens look like!

Stay Fabulous,

It’s a shame but it’s a truth: not every venue is The Breakers! But let me tell you something between the two of us . . . it doesn’t matter.

Oh my, if you’re properly motivated you can turn a shack into a palace. Trust me.

The key is to having drapes and someone with the know how to use them! Honey, I’m telling you it will blow your mind.

You need to think of your venue as a blank canvas and the drapes are the colors that you will use to paint your dream wedding. Of course, it helps if you also happen to be an artistic draping genius! But don’t worry about that because Panache Style has you covered. Our resident specialist, Robert Tabor, can transform any area you want into something out of a storybook.

I recently met with a bride who was despairing about her venue. The wedding hasn’t happened yet, but that doesn’t matter! It is going to be on the roof of a very popular hotel; however, there is a small problem. The reception’s views are beautiful, but the areas for the ceremony and the guest tables aren’t going to meet anyone’s standards unless you are blind . . . and even then I’m not so sure!

Oh, let me tell you, the bride will actually have to walk through the kitchen’s busboy area to get to her own wedding. Now you know that just isn’t going to work.

With drapes, and some other creative flares, including flowers of course, we will be able to transform the entrance into something befitting a woman who has been looking forward to this day her whole life.

I’m including pictures of Robert’s drawings that show what we’re going to do.

The reception tent itself has this horrible structural framework that is just hanging there doing nothing but looking like a hot mess. We’re going to bring in a chandelier and use drapes to hide the pivot points. The result will be FABULOUS and the structure will even look like it was supposed to be there and provided beautiful symmetry for the rectangular tables that the bride has chosen.

We’ve all seen pictures of brides and grooms entering their reception for the first time with a big ugly “exit” sign hanging over the door they enter through. That is just a shame and it can be easily avoided!

If you haven’t looked into using draping to soften and enhance a room, honey, we’re going to have to have a serious talk.

Look at the pictures below to see what I’m talking about. We’ll post the actual event after it happens to show you the conceptualization and the actualization of the whole affair!

Stay Fabulous,

Hello everyone. It’s time to get fabulous again! I’m very excited and I know you are too!

I love taking flowers and creating beautiful, architectural pieces with them. Anyone who has ever worked with me knows that I set the bar high and I don’t stop until everything is perfect.

Well, I’m going to let you in on a little secret: Making things fabulous takes more than having a talent for creating amazing pieces of art . . . it’s true!

Flowers are beautiful and they can be beautiful by themselves, but if you really want to bring your arrangements to the next level, honey, let me tell you, you have to make them pop!

How?

Lighting. That’s right: L-I-G-H-T-I-N-G!

Lighting can take flower arrangements from beautiful to truly fabulous and extraordinary.

Flowers need light . . . not only to live and grow in nature, but to be seen. They thirst for it like I thirst for fabulousness! Now, I’m not talking about getting a lamp or a spot light and hitting a centerpiece with a light; I’m talking about using lighting of all colors to enhance everything that you can see. Florida is the sunshine state for a reason, but that sun isn’t shining inside a ballroom or at night.

What is the value of having a beautiful ballroom set up with flowers, and centerpieces, and linens and everything else that makes your day special and nobody can see it?

You want to create an atmosphere where everything that you imagined impacts your guests and takes their breath away. The lights in some of these places are just not going to do it. . . oh no, no, no, no, no!

Lighting is used to enhance the natural beauty of the flowers of course, but it is also a key to having everything else, like the Swarovski Crystal, just make your jaw drop to the floor! We’re talking about transforming empty spaces into the places of your wildest dreams and the right lighting is the only way to do that. Lighting needs to be incorporated into the entire theme, not just something that turns on when you flip the light switch!

Panache Style has been using lighting for years. We have great relationships with some of the greatest lighting companies around, like SFL Productions, and we know what to do.

Just look at the pictures and see for yourselves! Remember, nobody can see flowers in the dark!

Rembember to stay FABULOUS,

Bobby Kyser

Panache Style is unlike any other floral company that you have had experience with. We specialize in what we like to call Architectural Floral Design?

“What is an Architectural Floral Design?”

I’m glad you asked because the answer is fabulous!

Many florists make arrangements and that’s it and it is exactly what it sounds like: arranging flowers to look nice and beautiful . . . they’re flowers after all! There is nothing wrong with this, but there is room for so much more if you have the right . . . what should I say? . . . Panache!

At Panache Style we build works of art. The key word here is build, not arrange. We build individual, unique pieces for your wedding, anniversary or any other special event you can think of.

We meet with you to understand your needs and we combine that with our vision to take the essence of your event and use it to invent the most beautiful creations you’ve ever seen.

You may think that it is impossible to do a better job than nature at making flowers beautiful, but let me tell you, we can and we do!

Please look at the pictures below to understand what I am saying!

Every year around this time I always get asked the same question:

“Bobby,” everyone starts, “What is the ‘IT” color this year?”

I always smile and say, “Well you’re just going to have to wait and see!”

Oh my, I love the look on their faces when I say that! When I stop laughing I tell them what I think the trend in weddings or events is going to be based on what color schemes people are ordering for their weddings.

We’re booking weddings all the way into May already and I have noticed that the color of the year is a proven classic: Navy Blue!

Navy blue is, of course, a traditional color that can complement almost anything. Most people think that it is going to be paired with whites, which makes sense for a wedding, but not this year.

Something is happening that I absolutely love . . . let me just tell you! People are paring navy blue with bold colors for their bouquets, their linens, their dresses and even their lighting. I’m in love with it because it takes a color that people are traditionally comfortable with and brings it to new levels so that it isn’t the same old same old!

Now don’t get me wrong; there is nothing more classic than white paired with navy, but when you look at the images below, you will see what I mean.

Navy blue with brilliant yellows, golds, greens and even pinks! Hold on Dorothy because we aren’t in Kansas anymore!

Oh my, can you believe that it is already time for a New Year? I can hardly believe that a whole year has already gone by. But that’s okay because now we can look forward to the new one and I know it is going to be fabulous!

The flower that I am most excited about for the next year is the Hydrangea. They are big. They are always available. And best yet, they come in a so many colors that I hardly know what to do with myself!

Antique green Hydrangeas are gorgeous and they are just as beautiful when they are dried as when they are brand new. I have a feeling that Navy is going to be a big color in weddings this year and combinations of navy and soft blue Hydrangeas are going to blow people away.

Hydrangeas are the best flowers to mix with all other flowers because of their fluffy and light texture. You can combine almost any other flower with them and it will make the additional flowers shine like they were stolen from the gods!

In the month of December Panache Style ordered over 3,000 Hydrangeas alone and we never, ever got sick of them. They are absolutely beautiful.

Best Regards,
