Panache Style: Breakfast at Tiffany’s?

Well hello there!

Now you know that we love, love, love our weddings here in South Florida. But what is a girl to do when she isn’t old enough to get married yet? How about throw a FABULOUS Quinceanera?!

For those of you who aren’t in-the-know, a Quinceanera is a special birthday party for young Latinas who are turning 15! It’s like a Sweet 16, but a year earlier! (And at my advice, why not have a Sweet 16 too! Oh my!)

The amazing, celebrity planner Ana Cruz brought us in for this Quinceanera with a “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” style theme. Now that is some good taste for a young girl! The world better watch out for this one!

Panache Style: Fabulous Painting!

Well Hello There!

Guuurl, let me tell you something: Sometimes when we are out setting up for an event, wedding or a showcase we don’t always have a professional photographer to take amazing pictures.

Now, I know that you love seeing our décor, so when I was preparing a display for the I Do in Delray Bridal Showcase a few weeks ago and I realized that we didn’t have a great camera to take a picture with, I didn’t know what to do.

Thank goodness for Annie Chaskalson. Honey, she is a Fine Art Event Artist! OHHH. Can you believe it?! Basically that means that she goes to weddings and events and paints the images that she sees. She is like a photographer before there were cameras and I love it!

Take a look below to see the beautiful piece that she created of our setup. I didn’t even know she was doing it. I had my assistant take a few pictures with a camera phone to show you a little of what Annie was looking at. I can’t wait to hang this piece up in our office!

Panache Style: Here Comes the Bride!

Well hello there!

“Here comes the bride!”?  Honey, I’ve heard that over 1000 times in the last 8 years and let me tell you, I still tear up nearly every time!  Although, you know there were a few girls I was just praying that would even make it down the aisle!

Guuurl, when that song comes on and everyone stands and turns, you know that it is YOUR moment and you will remember it for the rest of your life.  And, if you really want make a statement, honey, you need to announce it.

Of all the weddings I’ve been a part of, I just love seeing the ways that brides announce when they are coming down that FABulous wedding runway.  I have one thang to advise: WORK IT! One of my favorite ways always involves some type of sign carried by a cute little “chosen one” by the bride, to announce her coming. Trust me honey, there will be laughs AND tears!

I don’t have a picture of it, but one of the cutest things I ever saw was a little girl who was too young to walk down the aisle, being pulled by her older sisters (who could barely walk themselves), with a big “Here Comes the Bride” sign.   How special!

Below are a few pictures from our brides that let you know, “she’s on her way!”

Panache Style: The Classics Are Back!

Well hello there!

Honey, let me tell you. . . I love the event industry! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: you never know where you’re going to wind up or what you’re going to be doing!

I had the unique honor of working with Luxe Event Rentals and Decor for their BizBash Tradeshow display. Their furniture is just sickening! Fabulously sickening!

There is a trend right now in the floral and décor industry of going back to “basics”. And gurl, when I say basics, I mean daisies, carnations and other flowers that have been around the block if you know what I’m saying. . . .oh my! We’re talking about using these classic flowers and just bringing them to the next level, even in simple orbs and Pomander Balls.

At Panache Style we call it Floral Architecture, but you can call it FABulous!

We just love taking colors, colors, COLORS, and making them POP! Of course, having them accent Luxe’s furniture almost makes it too easy (we love their Large Mari Vases). The end result is a scene out of your dreams honey! Trust me, it is a new day and it is bright and fabulous!

As always, stay FABulous,

Bobby Kyser

Panache Style: I Do Delray!

Panache Style: Gothic Bouquet

Well hello South Florida!

Honey, welcome to Spring time officially! Can you smell it in the air and feel it in your soul? Well, let me tell you, I can and we’re starting off this Spring with boldness!

Have you ever heard of Black Magic Roses? No. .  . well now you have gurl! They are just one part of this SICKENINGLY FABULOUS bouquet that we made for a gothic wedding!

Included with the Black Magic Roses are Burgundy Safari Sunset, Red Ranunculus, Bright Red Kalanchoe, Dark Red Spider Gerberas (sounds scary doesn’t it!) and a collar of Black Ostrich Feathers to add that gothic POP!

Listen to me when I tell you that every eye was absolutely glued to this beautiful bride and her bouquet . . . it was like the Black Magic Roses cast a spell! And honey, for more images from the rest of this wedding, go to our gallery and make sure your jaw doesn’t hit the floor too hard!

As always, stay FABulous!

Panache Style: Eremurus

Well hello there!

Honey, have you been enjoying the gorgeous weather?! You know, I saw the national weather map on the news this morning and, let me tell you, my jaw dropped right to the floor when I saw that there are parts of the country that are actually below freezing right now!

If you live in Palm Beach, Broward or Miami Counties, or anywhere in Florida, count your blessings! If you want to know what it’s like to be that cold, imagine sleeping in your freezer tonight . . . NO THANK YOU!

So, my friends, it’s time to brighten up the dreary North with this week’s springtime flower: Eremurus!

Eremurus: Say that five times fast and I’ll buy you a drink!

Gurl, if that is too hard to wrap your mind around the week after St. Patrick’s day I don’t blame you so we can call them by their other names: Foxtail Lilies or Desert Candles.

These beautiful, colorful flowers do look like bushy little foxtails sticking right out of the ground! They come in brilliant earthy colors like copper, yellow and orange, but if you’re special, like me, you can find them in pink and white too. They can also grow to be up to 10 feet . . . just like I like them: Big and Tall!

This spring think about what a FABulous impression these could leave in your wedding or event. Whether as accents or the center of attention, Eremurus will add something unique and new!

As always, stay FABulous!

Panache Style: Hyacinths

Well hello there!

Another Fabulous week has gone by and it’s time for our next spring flower in the middle of winter! Gurl, I just found out that some of my friends in the north got hit by ANOTHER snow storm last week. Oh my goodness, I can’t believe it. It was even a chilly 65 here in South Florida over the weekend!

I know what will heat us all up: Hyacinths!

These flowers are so beautiful I almost can’t stand up straight!

Let me tell you, if I had to pick a flower that actually looks like it is on parade it is the Hyacinth. The petals bloom in a wonderful, cartwheeling fashion that makes me want to take a fabulous dance right down the center of the street. . . and even better, they come in all colors of the rainbow darling! Ugghhhh. . . it’s like this flower was made just for me!

They have long been associated with rebirth and this makes it a perfect springtime flower. BUT be careful, the Hyacinth bulb is poisonous! Can you believe it?! Beautiful and dangerous! Honey, they are beginning to sound like some people I know! Oh my. . . .

The petals and stems are fine though, so no worries. I know that you’ll come to love them just as much as I do!

As always, stay FABulous!

Panache Style: Daffodils!

Well Hello There!

Honey, get ready because it’s time to continue with our springtime in the wintertime blog series! Oh my, I’m so excited I might just have to stop before I get in trouble!

For those who may be trying to catch up, I was dismayed at the images of all of my friends up in the cold north who had to suffer through a blizzard just a few weeks ago! To cheer them up I decided to get ready for spring and talk about some of my favorite spring flowers!

Now let me tell you, one of the all-time best spring flowers is the Daffodil. I’m not sure if you know the myth of the daffodil, but darling get ready because here it comes!

Back in little, old Ancient Greece a man named Narcissus fell in love with himself. He knelt down by a pool of water and stared at himself (we can all relate can’t we?). He became so obsessed with his own reflection that he kept staring at himself until he turned into a flower . . .the daffodil! Honey, he must have been gorgeous!

I love the daffodil because it is bright, vibrant and its petals seem to open up and want to just embrace you! And honey, if the daffodil is really a gorgeous man, that’s okay with me!

Happy springtime in the wintertime!

As always, stay Fabulous,

Bobby Kyser

Panache Style: Springtime in the Winter!

Well hello there!

A few weeks ago my friends up North all got blasted by a blizzard! Now, that’s why I live in sunny Florida. Honey, the coldest I want to get all year is when I open my refrigerator to get a cold bottle of water!

Oh my, when I saw all the pictures on FB of my friends buried up to their eyeballs in snow I had to go outside and let the sun shine on my face before I shivered to death just thinking about them!

So I’m going to do my part to at least give people in the desolate tundras of the world some hope. I’m introducing Spring in the Winter!

Honey, over the next four weeks I’m going to feature springtime flowers that I love. I hope seeing them will make you look forward to warmer times and brighten up a dreary winter! To all my darlings living in warmer weather, let’s just bond together in solidarity and try not to get too sun tanned!

When I think of spring, my favorite flower is always the tulip! Tulips are always the first spring flowers to burst through the frozen ground and let us know that the winter is over. Honey, the groundhog can take lessons from the tulip!

Tulips are beautiful and come in all numbers of colors. Someday I’m definitely going to have to travel to Europe for one of their famous Tulip Festivals. I’ll be sure to take pictures darlings!

As always, stay Fabulous,

Bobby Kyser
